UKHRUL: As part of the 87th CRPF Raising Day observance, the 94 Battalion CRPF organized a large-scale blood donation camp on Tuesday at the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Imphal. The event saw a significant turnout, demonstrating a shared spirit of social responsibility.
The event reflected the Force’s commitment to “Service and Loyalty,” with officers and jawans participating in the humanitarian cause with remarkable zeal and enthusiasm, CRPF said in a statement.
The donation drive was presided over by Pushkar Bhardwaj, 2nd-in-Command (2 I/C) of the 94 Battalion CRPF. Joining the event, Kumar Rajiv Ranjan, Assistant Commandant, along with several other officials, encouraged the donors of the 94 Battalion CRPF and highlighted the importance of life-saving contributions.

The drive was organized with the primary objective of strengthening the bond between the security forces and the local community, ensuring that the CRPF continues to contribute to the welfare of the citizens of Manipur beyond their primary security duties, it added
Besides the 94 Battalion, officers and personnel from various other CRPF units stationed in Manipur also organized similar blood donation events at RIMS Imphal, ensuring a robust contribution to the state’s blood bank.
The medical staff at RIMS expressed their gratitude to the CRPF for the timely contribution, noting that the units collected will play a vital role in saving lives across the state.
