Chandel: The Sirti Thiimjiitam Sourkhe (Monsang Naga Student’s Union) has congratulated Dr Evergreat Wanglar s/o Wanglar Hemasing and Shongsi Ruhila Monsang of Jophou Village on being awarded the Doctorate of Philosophy (PhD) in Social work on December 28, 2022 for his thesis entitled “Childcare Institutions in Manipur with special reference trehabilitation of Children”.
Dr Evergreat did his PhD from Indra Gandhi National Tribal University, Regional Campus Manipur, under the supervision of Dr Grace Laltlinzo, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, IGNTU RC Manipur.

Dr Evergreat Wanglar had cleared UGC NET in Social Work six times. He had also contributed three book chapters to edited volumes and published five articles in UGC Care list that are indexed in SCOPUS and Social Science citation. He has presented research papers at various National and International Seminars/Conferences.
Dr Wanglar is presently working at Don Bosco College (Autonomous), Maram as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Social work.
