Ukhrul, June 14: The NEET-UG 2025 results, released by the National Testing Agency (NTA), have brought pride to the Northeast with several students securing top positions from their respective states.
Among them, Md Musa Kalim from Assam has emerged as one of the highest All India Rank (AIR) scorers in the region.

Here is the list of state-wise NEET-UG 2025 toppers from the eight Northeastern states:
– Manipur: Erwin Khundrakpam secured an impressive 99.8294043 percentile and All India Rank (AIR) 3706. He belongs to the OBC-NCL (Central List) category.
– Arunachal Pradesh: Tumi Hina, with a 99.8762513 percentile and AIR 2686, topped the state in the ST category.
– Assam: Md Musa Kalim secured a 99.9759202 percentile and AIR 509, emerging as the top scorer in the General category.
– Meghalaya: Yoonis Lyngdoh, a male candidate from the ST category, secured 99.4153397 percentile with AIR 12899.
– Mizoram: Cynthia Lalhlupuii Shangpliang, a female candidate in the ST category, topped the state with 96.0882934 percentile and AIR 85125.
– Nagaland: Manyata Jain, a female candidate in the General category, scored 98.2022951 percentile, securing AIR 38878.
– Tripura: Ananya Debnath, a female candidate from the OBC-NCL (Central List), secured 99.9236868 percentile with AIR 1621.
– Sikkim: Apeksha Chettri, from the General category, scored 99.0592115 percentile, placing her at AIR 20438.
In the merit list released on Saturday at neet.nta.nic.in, Mahesh Kumar from Rajasthan has topped NEET-UG 2025 by securing All India Rank 1 with a perfect percentile of 99.9999547 in the General category. Meanwhile, Avika Aggarwal from Delhi (NCT) has emerged as the female topper, scoring an impressive 99.9996832 percentile and securing All India Rank 5.
