NEW DELHI (SHABD): The Medical Counselling Committee has released the NEET-UG 2026 counselling schedule for MBBS and other undergraduate medical courses.
The first round of All India Quota counselling will begin on August 4, while the academic session for the 2026-27 batch will start on September 8.

Counselling for deemed and central universities will be held till August 17, followed by subsequent rounds in August and September. The last date for joining will be August 22. State quota counselling will begin on August 13.
MCC has introduced key changes, including online resignation from allotted seats, no mandatory physical reporting for candidates seeking seat upgrades, and online document submission for NRI quota candidates in deemed universities.
The new process aims to make medical admissions more transparent and student-friendly.
