‘No One Will Be Spared’: Manipur Police Chief Warns

Imphal, Aug 12: Manipur police chief Rajiv Singh has warned that no one will be spared in the ongoing crackdown on drugs.

The Director General of Police, speaking on the sidelines of the Har Ghar Tiranga Bike Rally in Imphal on Tuesday, said the drug problem has spread beyond Manipur to the entire Northeast.

“We are very strict, categorical, and clear any person, whether a policeman or a civilian, found involved in drugs will face action. This concerns our youth and future generations. We will be absolutely ruthless in dealing with it,” Director General of Police Rajiv Singh said.

Rajiv, while thanking bikers’ clubs and police personnel for their participation in the rally, said the fight against drugs would continue “irrespective of who is involved.
