The National Socialist Council of Nagalim (NSCN IM) on Sunday refuted the report of the 35th Assam Rifles (AR) in a release which appeared in the media that it apprehended an over ground worker of NSCN on January 1, 2021 at Phuktong under Mon district, Nagaland with a 32 mm pistol and magazine.

NSCN IM said in the release that they have nothing to do with the apprehended person and have no link whatsoever.

They then criticized the 35th Assam Rifles for indulging in “such a game plan to put NSCN in a bad light”, adding that it is “nothing new.”

The group further said that “Assam Rifles should stop forthwith to link any anti-social element apprehended with NSCN.”
