NSF condoles family; Condemns March 22 killings at Peren dist in Nagaland

The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) on Wednesday issued a press statement on the ‘fratricidal killings’ where three persons were killed by unidentified assailants at Lamhainandi village under Peren district on March 22 and said it was shocked and deeply saddened.

NSF while extending its deepest condolences to the family members of those killed in the unfortunate incident, condemned the barbaric killings, saying it was the handiwork of anti-social elements which have outraged the sentiments of the entire Naga populace and beyond.

The students’ federation urged the general public to collectively work towards ensuring peace and that tranquility prevails, and further urged section of the society to refrain from giving communal colour to the incident.

It also appealed to the investigative agencies and Government of Nagaland to leave no stone unturned in booking the culprits to reward befitting punishment, it said.
