Kohima: Office headquarters of the Naga Students’ Federation, the apex Naga student body was vandalised on Saturday morning.
According to sources, the Naga Club Building that housed NSF and the All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) offices were demolished, suspected to have used heavy earth moving equipment by miscreants. However, the use of heavy equipment have not been independently verified at the time of filing this report.

Speaking to journalists, NSF president Kegwayhun Tep told that information about vandalism started at around 3 am. A First Information Report (FIR) has been filed at kohima North Police Station around 5:30 am, while he said so far no suspect has been identified. He said the matter is for the authority.
Kegwayhun Tep also informed that important documents, including Naga people are suspected to be damaged.
The NSF has said it will issue a press statement on the incident at the earliest.
The chief minister of Nagaland took to twitter confirming the attack on NSF office by “unknown miscreants.”
Neiphiu Rio wrote on twitter, “I strongly condemning the vandalism of the building in Kohima which has NSF and ANCSU office and some shops said, Respect for private and public properties is fundamental in a civilized society. I appeal to all right-thinking citizens to maintain peace and harmony”.
