IMPHAL: In continuation of the One-Day Free Eye Testing & Spectacle Distribution Camp organised at the residence of former Moirang MLA M Prithviraj Singh, at Moirang Chengei on April 5, a total of 70 pairs of spectacles were distributed free of cost to patients aged 60 years and above. These beneficiaries had already undergone eye testing during the earlier camp.

The distribution took place on Monday as part of the organiser’s commitment to provide free spectacles to senior citizens. M Prithviraj Singh expressed regret that the distribution could not be carried out earlier due to the prevailing law and order situation in Manipur.

He further assured that similar initiatives will be organised in different localities of Moirang Kendra once the situation stabilises, reaffirming his dedication to community welfare.
