During the seminar, Thotreiso Keishing, convener of the Hao Foundation and resource person, emphasized the critical need for women’s empowerment and underscored the important roles women play in society. Dr. Paul Chawang, another resource person, addressed the topic ‘Youth for Change’ and discussed the adverse impacts of corruption and bribery on society. He encouraged attendees to speak out against these practices and to participate in efforts to reform the system. He cited examples of widespread corruption in government departments, including Anganwadi services and teacher appointments. Dr. Chawang called upon the gathering to actively oppose these social evils.

Social activist Ashang Kasar, also a resource person, urged students to dedicate themselves fully to their studies with commitment and determination. He emphasized the importance of hard work, dedication, and faith in God.
Commenting on the current situation in the state, Kasar noted the significant increase in Kuki settlements in areas that previously had only a few households and villages.

He also drew attention to the consequences of corruption, such as inadequate educational infrastructure, lack of medical facilities, poor road conditions, and the migration of youths to metropolitan cities in search of job opportunities and better living conditions.

The seminar was attended by a large gathering of students, youth, women, and village elders.
