Ukhrul reported one COVID death and two new positive cases on Monday taking the cumulative death to 16 while total active cases stands at 64.
Meanwhile, the additional district magistrate in excercise of the power conferred upon him has sealed two residences situated at Seipet Zingsho Phungreitang Ukhrul with immediate effect.
They are residence of late Leisure K and Kim Kazingmei Seipet Zingsho Phungreitang.
While containment of four residences have been revoke, Joyrimoon Clara at Dungrei Hungpung; Sarina Vashumn at Leiyatang Hungpung; Rinchanphi KSV at Kapaitang Hungpung and Valleyrose at Kapaitang Hungpung.
Of the total 64 active cases in the district – 14 cases are from district isolation ward, Transit Covid Care Centre 44, Jessami isolation centre 1, Leisan community isolation 2, Tongou village community isolation centre 3. Altogether, two positive patients have been discharged today, according to district surveillance officer, Ukhrul.
On the other hand, Kamjong district reported five positive cases in the past 24 hours.
On Sunday the district reported single digit positive case.
