Over 400 Students Participate in Rally Against Sale of Tobacco and Drugs in Chandel

Chandel: More than 400 students representing 8 private and government schools joined forces in a resolute stand against the sale of tobacco products, drugs, and other intoxicants in Chandel district today. The rally, organized under the banner of Anal Naga Tangpi (ANTA), garnered widespread support from various Anal Frontal Organizations, including Anal Lenruwl Tangpi, Anal Sinnu Ruwl, and Anal Christian Forum.

Key organizers such as Gospel Friends, in collaboration with the Chandel Private School Associations, organised the impactful rally that commenced from MUGHSS ground Japhou to DC Lamkhai, and finally culminated at Indoor stadium, Japhou Bazaar.

The rally served as a powerful testament to the collective resolve of Chandel’s youth to combat the scourge of harmful substances within their community.

Speaking at the culminating event, organizers expressed gratitude for the overwhelming participation and pledged to continue their efforts in raising awareness and fostering a resilient, substance-free community in Chandel.
