UKHRUL: The Manipur State Power Company Limited (MSPCL) has informed the public that power supply to the 33/11 kV Kamjong Sub-Station has been disrupted for the past week due to repeated tripping of the transmission line. According to a press release, the Manager of Transmission Sub-division No. VIII, S. Shangriwung, stated that their staff have been continuously working on rectification since Monday. However, the nature of the fault has made it challenging to locate, as the line stretches for 56 km through dense forest and rugged terrain.

“Efforts are being made to identify and rectify the cause of the frequent tripping of the 33 kV transmission line as quickly as possible. We therefore request the public to kindly bear with the inconvenience caused during this period,” he said. The press release also expresses regret for the disruption while appreciating the public’s patience and cooperation.
