Ramva katamnao Long elects Yangmaso Lunglo as its president for 2024-2026

Ukhrul: Change of guard ceremony for the office bearers of Ramva Katamnao Long was conducted at the Ramva Katamnao Long office in Ukhrul’s Ramva village on Monday for the tenure 2024 to 2026.

The highlight of the ceremony was the election of Yangmaso Lunglo as the new President, succeeding Somishang Lunglo. This change signals a fresh direction and vision for the Ramva Katamnao Long, bringing in new perspectives and strategies under Yangmaso Lunglo’s leadership.

The meeting, held today, saw active participation from key figures including Village Headman Wungnaoyo Zimik and Village Secretary Shimreipam Kasar. The board of advisors, comprising seasoned members with invaluable experience, also played a crucial role in facilitating the smooth transition of power and responsibilities.
