Thoubal, August 28: The Manipur State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM), Thoubal, has facilitated an amount of Rs. 16,40,000 seed capital through the Pradhan Mantri Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises (PMFME) scheme for 41 Self Help Group (SHG) members.

MSRLM works closely with Self Help Groups, which are small community-based collectives, often led by women, that pool savings and extend mutual financial support. By linking SHGs with government schemes, MSRLM enables members to access funding, improve livelihoods and strengthen local entrepreneurship.

A disbursement of Rs. 40,000 each to the beneficiaries was carried out by Thoubal Deputy Commissioner Hannah Kahmei.
