Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 Launched in ‘Aspirational District’ Chandel

CHANDEL: Deputy Commissioner of Chandel Hemant Kumar on Thursday launched the Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 at Multipurpose Hall, Mini Secretariat in Chandel District Headquarter.

Notably, Chandel district was picked among the 112 Aspirational Districts and 513 Aspirational Blocks under the Aspirational Districts Programme and Aspirational Blocks Programme for the Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 launched by National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog). The launching event at Chandel was organised by District Administration Chandel, under the initiative of NITI Aayog, Government of India.

Speaking at the function, Chandel Deputy Commissioner Hemant Kumar (IAS) said that the idea of launching the Sampoornata Abhiyan 2.0 is to saturate the Six specified indicators on themes such as health, nutrition, education, agriculture, social development and infrastructure indicators with clear targets and timelines, ensuring last-mile delivery and leaving no household behind.

ADC Chandel, Md Firoz Khan, CMO Chandel, Dr. Joyson Matthew Monsang, SDO Khenjoi, SDO Chakpikarong, DFO Chandel and Other DLOs Attended the launching event.
