Senapati: ANSAM Welcomes Th. Muivah, Unfurls Naga National Flag at Office

Senapati, October 28: The All Naga Students Association, Manipur (ANSAM) welcomes the visit of Th. Muivah, Ato Kilonser, GPRN to Senapati district headquarters by unfurling the Naga National flag at its office, reaffirming it’s position to support the framework agreement, recognizing flag and constitution.

During the event, Angteshang Maring, President of the All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur stated that with hearts burning in pride and spirits anchored in purpose, the Naga youths and students of Manipur, on behalf of ANSAM office, units of ANSAM, rise in Unity and warmly welcome the most revered leader, Thuingaleng Muivah, Ato Kilonser of NSCN, GPRN as he returns home to his native village, Somdal and to the people’s Oking, Senapati District Headquarters, Tahamzam, from the 22nd to the 29th of October 2025 after five (5) long decades.

On his historic returning to its roots, the student body stated to welcome the living legend and living embodiment of the political struggles- a man whose life has been a song of sacrifice, courage, and unbreakable conviction for the Naga Nation.

Through the storms of exile and the trials of time, he has carried the hopes of people who refused to be forgotten – the hopes of a nation born not put of fear, but of faith and destiny, ANSAM President stated.

ANSAM President mentioned “To every Naga youth, every student across our Naga-land, this is your moment. Come forward. Stand tall. Be part of history.”

The student body President urged the people to gather as one people, under one flag, under one constitution and one destiny, to honour the man who has given his life for Naga nation’s future.

“Let the hills echo with unity.
Let our voices proclaim our loyalty. For the Naga Nation lives-and will live forever,” he mentioned.
