District Health Society (DHS) Tamenglong, in collaboration with Autonomous District Council Tamenglong conducted the COVID 19 Test (RAT) for business persons of Tamenglong. The main focus is to reduce Covid through Testing and confirming status so as to prevent further spreading.
Shopkeepers, meat and vegetable vendors, Chicken Sellers, and even the general public were tested for free at Tamenglong Main Market Shed at Tamenglong Bazar.
The DHS team was led by Dr. Rochunlung Savio Pamei (Dist. Surveillance Officer), Dr. Z. Sangthonliu, Epidemiologist, Dr. Guidiathiu Kamei, Medical Superintendent, along with 3 Lab Technicians and 1 staff nurse.
Out of 182 persons tested today, Six were found to be positive.
