Delhi: The second and final day of the XVIII Literary & Education Conclave organised by the Tangkhul Katamnao Long, Delhi (TKLD) saw a vibrant mix of discussions, competitions, and cultural performances on Saturday.

The event was graced by Chief Guest Lucas L. Kamsuan, CSS & (CSE-1993), currently serving as Joint Secretary at the Department of Public Enterprises, Ministry of Finance, Government of India. Hosted by Ngahor Awungshi and Solon Ngashangva, the day unfolded with engaging plenary sessions and a range of competitive events.

Plenary Discussions:

The discussions were chaired by Ngachonmi Jonah Raskan, focusing on three crucial topics.

  2. Environment Protection & Climate Change
    • Dr. Machutmi Shimray
    • Dr. Thuisem Shimrah
  3. Understanding the relation of Customary land holding

Cultural Performances:

The conclave featured renowned Tangkhul singer Somaya Rumthao and rising star Soshimmi Horam, who captivated the audience with their soulful performances.

A series of competitions were held throughout the day, attracting enthusiastic participation from students and attendees. These included:

The event was attended by prominent figures from the community, including former presidents, Tribal Unit Presidents, and members of the Naga Students’ Union Delhi (NSUD). The second day of the conclave successfully fostered insightful discussions on key societal issues, while also encouraging intellectual and creative expression through competitions.

The XVIII Literary & Education Conclave held under the theme “Engaging with Educational Shift: Adaptive Learning and Pathways,” commenced on Friday with significant discussions.
