Imphal, Mar 29: A three-month workshop cum production of Raj Pareng (Gouranga Roop), a significant cultural performance, has concluded at the Aribam Mandophta Academy in Lairikyengbam Leikai, Imphal East.
The workshop, aimed at honing the skills of young artists, was organized by the North Eastern Culture Academy (NECA) based in Napet Palli, Imphal East.
The event showcased the culmination of the intensive training, which saw participants from various backgrounds learning and mastering traditional artistic forms.
The concluding ceremony, held at the academy, was graced by the presence of dignitaries, including the Secretary of the North Eastern Culture Academy, Pukhrambam Priya, and the Secretary of Lairikyengbam Leikai Meirapaibi, Yengkhom Indrani Devi.

The two officials honoured the young artists, recognising their hard work, dedication, and achievements throughout the workshop.
The event also marked the grand unveiling of the production Raj Pareng (Gouranga Roop), which was skilfully brought to life by the talented participants.
During the ceremony, Pukhrambam Priya praised the participants for their commitment and noted how the workshop helped preserve and promote the unique cultural traditions of the region.
She highlighted the importance of such initiatives in nurturing the next generation of artists and keeping the cultural heritage alive for future generations.
Yengkhom Indrani Devi also expressed her gratitude toward the participants and emphasized the positive impact of the workshop on the cultural landscape of Imphal East.
