UKHRUL: The Tangkhul Naga Long, Working Committee (TNL-WC) has issued a travel advisory for commuters using the alternative route through Ukhrul and Kamjong districts, announcing a 24×7 helpline to assist travellers facing emergencies and other difficulties.
TNL-WC said commuters from different parts of Manipur, other northeastern states and the rest of the country have been encountering difficulties while travelling along the alternative route passing through Ukhrul and Kamjong amid the ongoing conflict in the hill districts. The apex body said the situation has been further compounded during the current monsoon season.

To facilitate assistance, the TNL Working Committee has set up round-the-clock helpline services for travellers requiring help in cases of loss of direction, medical emergencies, vehicle breakdowns, road accidents, or the need for food and accommodation.
The helpline numbers are: Yarui I: 9612744804 and Yarui II: 9862144506
The TNL appealed to travellers in distress to make use of the helpline services, stating that volunteers would be available around the clock to provide assistance along the alternative route.
