Ukhrul, October 30: Zonal Education Office, Ukhrul and DIET Centre, Ukhrul on Monday organised a one day training programme for field investigators at DRDA Hall, Mini Secretariat Complex, Ukhrul.

ZEO of Ukhrul, Thaimei Badan who is also the District Level Coordinator of the State Educational Achievement Survey (SEAS) delivered the welcome address. He stated that the field investigators would conduct a survey at 66 selected schools in Ukhrul District. The field investigators would present the questionnaire to Standard III, VI and IX students on 3 November 2023 to the selected 66 schools.

Rangam Kapai, System Analyst Samagra Shiksha Cum Associate District Level Coordinator (SEAS), Ukhrul led the discourse with 150 and above teachers present at the nine day training programme.
Ringshan Shaiza, Programme Officer Samagra Shiksha, Ukhrul Cum Associate District Level Coordinator (SEAS), Ukhrul gave the word of thanks. Ringshan Shaiza informed that the survey undertaken at block level will be submitted to district level for onward submission to the State Implementing Society Samagra Shiksha Manipur.

The State Educational Achievement Survey (SEAS) would focus mainly on the understanding and knowledge of students in English Language and Mathematics.
