Chandel, June 30: Two books by Rev. Dr. Koningthung Ngoru Moyon, former Executive Secretary of the Moyon Naga Baptist Association (MYNBA), titled “Commentary on Ecclesiastes: The Proclaimer” and “Basic Preaching,” were released by Khp. Komenshing Chara, Chief/Chairman of Penaching village, and Rev. Burin Khartu, Pastor of Penaching village, respectively. The release took place on Sunday during the morning worship service at Penaching Baptist Church, Chandel.
The author, Koningthung Moyon, asserted that the two books are Christian academic works, describing them as dynamic and life-changing. He appealed to the audience to read them to further their knowledge and understanding.
During the book release service, Rev. Burin Khartu appreciated Rev. Dr. Koningthung Ngoru Moyon for his prolific writing skills and scholastic research, and for publishing such important and necessary books for the Moyon and Christian community. He invoked God’s continuous love and blessings in Moyon’s future endeavors during the release and blessing prayer service.
Rev. Dr. Koningthung Ngoru Moyon (D. Min/D.D./Th.D/Ph.D) is a faithful Baptist ordained minister belonging to the Moyon Naga community from Penaching village, Chandel district. His journey spans teaching, administration, and pastoral and evangelistic roles. From serving as the Former Executive Secretary of the Moyon Naga Baptist Association (MYNBA), he is currently the Chairman of the International Institute of Biblical Studies (IIBS) and a respected faculty member at M2M Cross Culture Mission & Seminary (M2MCCM Seminary). He is a recipient of the India Prime 100 Professors Awards 2022 and the Top 10 Visionary Future Leaders 2023 by Heights of Success Magazines for his significant impact on shaping the future through his tireless efforts. He was also awarded the Hypedge International Brilliance Award 2021 as Best Author of the Year in recognition of his outstanding service and exemplary leadership.
