Ukhrul Assam Rifles conducts pre-recruitment training for Agniveers & AR

Ukhrul: The Assam Rifles, Somsai Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) said it is conducting physical test, written test and medical screening for ongoing pre-recruitment for young aspirants willing to join Indian Armed Forces as Agniveers and Assam Rifles at Ukhrul headquarters since July 15.

A press release issued on August 3 by AR said the test aims to create awareness amongst the youths about the effort required to pass the physicals, written and medical test.

A total of approximately 215 male and 17 female for Agniveer/Assam Rifles recruitment from villages in Ukhrul district are attending the training, it said.
