A cadre of the United Nation Liberation Front (UNLF) militant has been arrested by security forces at Yairipok lamkhai near Thoubal bazaar on Wednesday.
The arrested UNLF cadre is identified as Khwairakpam Bijay Meitei @ Chingshuba @ Bocha (32) s/o (L) Kh. Goberdhon @ Gujadhon Meitei of Moreh Ward No. -7 Heinoumakhong Leikai presently staying at Langol Laimanai, Imphal West.
Police report says that Bijay’s army number is 1834 of 2004, trained at Eastern Nagaland.
The arrested person has been handed over to Thoubal police station for further necessary legal action.
