Artificial or Superintelligence Inherit Dark Data, Demand–Supply Gaps: Inventor Vatsal Soin Files 0→1 Patents to Sort, Match

Must Read

Two filed inventions by Vatsal Soin give AI and Superintelligence a tidy base of stored data and a checked path to action. Band-Based Archive Triage (BBAT) sorts stored records from their labels alone. The 0→1 Doctrine matches needs to supply and checks each step before it runs. Both speak one 0-to-1 scale, both leave a sealed receipt, and each stands alone.

EACH INVENTION, ONE QUESTIONBBAT asks which stored records still earn their place. The 0→1 Doctrine is not normalisation. It is much more: a multi-token chain, with a token for each stage, from the user’s needs and limits through the product, the supplier’s ability, authorisation and live control, to a receipt after the act. Each token passes on what the next stage needs to check it.

WHY THIS MATTERS NOW

Organisations hold more data than they can use, at a cost and a risk. Meanwhile, needs and supply often miss: goods go unsold, help arrives late, services do not fit. AI and Superintelligence work on both, and do best with ordered data and checkable actions. BBAT and the 0→1 Doctrine take one job each.

THE SHARED LANGUAGE: BANDS

Fields have long lived like islands, each with its own units: kilograms, watts, currency. Both inventions turn a measurement or a need into a band, a short range between 0 and 1, a common shore. A range is honest, because real measurements carry a margin, and it travels without the exact figure. Ranges, not points.

THE 0→1 DOCTRINE: WHAT IT DOES

ONE SCALE FOR ANY FIELD

Health readings, prices, capacity and limits become 0-to-1 values. A new field needs a new index, not a new system, and the same checks apply.

BOTH SIDES OF A MATCH

A need and an ability sit on the same scale, so a simple comparison shows the fit.

PRIVACY BY DESIGN

Raw personal details stay on the user’s device and only the band is shared. The Doctrine can run with Delete Before Share, so raw values are removed before the band travels.

LIMITS BEFORE FIT

Safety, legal and location limits are checked first. Fit is compared for options that pass.

CLEAR OUTCOMES

The answer is plain: allow, allow with conditions, send back for redesign, or halt. The reasoning can be shown in readable form.

LIVE CONTROL AND PEOPLE IN CHARGE

While a step runs, it can be paused, re-routed, handed to another resource or passed to a person. People can approve steps first or watch over them.

A RECORD AFTER THE STEP

A sealed receipt keeps the decision and the checks behind it for later review by an auditor, a regulator or the organisation itself.

BBAT: WHAT IT DOES

LABEL-ONLY TRIAGE

BBAT reads labels such as age, category, legal-hold flag and retention rule. The sorting part is technically kept away from the stored content.

RETAIN, PURGE OR PROMOTE

The labels combine into a retention index. Records worth keeping stay. Records that meet no retention condition can be purged under authorisation. Records with a use are promoted.

PEOPLE FOR HARD CASES

A legal hold or a doubtful result goes to an authorised reviewer, who can decide without seeing the stored content.

A PROTECTED WORKROOM

A promoted record is processed in a hardware-isolated environment, where a band is derived.

RELEASE CHECKS

The group must be large enough, the band wide enough, and linking with outside data must not point to a person. A failed check blocks release.

DELETE BEFORE SHARE

Source records within the declared scope are deleted before anything leaves. The level of assurance can rise with the risk of the data.

A LOCKED GATE

Release is off by default through a hardware control. It opens after the checks pass and a sealed receipt exists. One band and its receipt leave.

RECEIPTS WITHOUT CONTENT

Each purge and promotion leaves a sealed receipt with no record content, so an auditor can verify outcomes without opening the archive. Seals can use quantum-safe schemes.

TWO WAYS TO USE A BAND

Dark Data Monetisation Without Exposure (DDME) lets an organisation earn from old records by releasing one bounded range to a partner, with the source records deleted first. Band-Derived Training Signals (BDTS) pool ranges from many sources, test whether they could be rebuilt into the originals, and offer the rest to train AI. BBAT sets no price.

A WATCH ON AI AGENTS

BBAT’s Cross-Agent Aggregation Detector (CAAD) works from sealed receipts alone. It is designed to spot when many AI agents’ actions add up to a breach, and to read one agent’s drift over time. Findings go to a person.

WHEN THE TWO WORK TOGETHER

Figure 2
Figure 2. A stored record and an action can each leave a receipt, and the two can link.

DESIGNED FOR AI AND SUPERINTELLIGENCE

AI agents book, buy, route and decide at speed. The Doctrine adds a check before a step, control during it and a record after it. BBAT adds sorted, permissioned data with receipts, and watches how agents’ actions add up. As AI grows toward superintelligence, traceable data and checkable actions can matter more.

WHERE VALUE CAN SHOW UP

Bands let fields share what data shows with less exposure. Picture hospitals pooling treatment ranges for critical diseases, trial teams comparing results without patient files, space missions sharing instrument ranges, and agro labs sharing soil and yield ranges. Organizations can track storage cost, audit time, data exposure and service fit in a pilot.

STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Who owns the data?

The data holder keeps its existing rights. BBAT transfers no ownership.

Is a person involved?

Yes, where one is needed. Legal holds, doubtful cases and judgement calls go to a person, and the Doctrine supports people approving or watching over steps.

What does a receipt show?

What was checked and decided, with no source content, so an outcome can be verified later.

Does it need special hardware?

Only where trusted hardware is chosen for the protected workroom and the locked gate.

Where does it apply?

Across domains and at any scale, as a common base. Artistic, cultural and creative choices stay with people.

BUILT TO BE TESTED

These are filed designs. Pilots will show the savings. Rules, trusted hardware and links to an organisation’s own systems set how far each one goes. Each pilot starts small, with one workflow, one baseline and one measure.

CLOSING NOTE

Trillions can be lost to idle data and unchecked decisions, and superintelligence will inherit both. Sort what is kept, check what is done, seal both: proof, not blind trust.
