Voting, sole decision of the person concerned, without any force and external influence

Ukhrul: On the eve of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly polls, Michael Shaiza, co-incharge of BJP Manipur State Political Programmes and Meeting urges all for a free and fair election for phase-2 polling on Saturday.

A total of 22 assembly constituencies under six electoral districts namely, 10 in Thoubal, 2 in Chandel, 3 in Ukhrul, 3 in Senapati, 3 in Tamenglong and 1 in Jiribam will go for polls scheduled for Saturday.

Michael Shaiza, speaking to this correspondent, states that the universal adult franchise of each and every eligible voters of Ukhrul district should be practiced with the sole decision of the person concerned, without any force and external influence.

Expressing his believes that the voice and choice of the people will usher in an era of development and welfare of the society unopposed, Michael further prays and hope that Saturday polls will be peaceful and constitutional and that the authorities and the machinery of the state government should strictly adhere by the principles and values of union of India as enshrined in the preamble of the Constitution of India.
