‘Wildlife Conservation: Amur’s Journey to Conservation’ Released in Tamenglong

UKHRUL: ‘Amur’s Journey to Conservation’, A short film on Amur Falcon was released in Tamenglong, Manipur on Monday in an effort towards wildlife conservation in the region.

District Forest Officer (DFO), Tamenglong, Kharibam Hitler Singh released the film at the Rainforest Club office Tamenglong in the presence of the club members.

Directed by RFC member Mordecai Panmei and produced by Tamenglong Forest Division, the short film highlights the importance of Amur falcon conservation and the contribution of local community towards its conservation.

The event was attended by Rainforest Club founder, former Director, Manipur Health Services, Dr Chambo Gonmei, RFO Tamenglong, Joel Gangmei, RFO Tamei, Khundrakpam Johnson, and other Rainforest Club members.

The Rainforest Club Tamenglong has been working relentlessly towards spreading awareness on tracking and saving Amur Falcon, as a part of its wildlife conservation activities in the region.
