Y Antas Khan, Lilong AC Independent MLA extends support to BJP-led government

"I, Y Antas Khan, MLA, 30-Lilong Assembly Constituency, would like to extend my support to the BJP-led government in the state of Manipur."

Independent MLA of 30-Lilong Assembly Constituency, Y Antas Khan extended his support to the BJP led government in Manipur on Saturday.

He defeated Md Abdul Nasir by a huge margin of votes. Nasir resigned from the State Assembly as Congress MLA prompting the conduct of the by-poll 30-Lilong Assembly Constituency.

Y Antas Khan, in his letter wrote, “I, Y Antas Khan, MLA, 30-Lilong Assembly Constituency, would like to extend my support to the BJP-led government in the state of Manipur.”

Manipur Chief Minister, N Biren Singh also took to twitter officially declaring Y Antas Khan’s 30-Lilong AC support and wrote: “Warmest welcome, Shri Y Antas Khan, Hon’ble MLA, Lilong Assembly Constituency, for extending your support to BJP-led Government in the State. The Government is working with a well-knit strategy to ensure the State’s overall development, emphasizing deprived and neglected areas.”
