Imphal, August 25: The Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) has extended a heartfelt welcome to several members from different Naga groups who have recently joined its fold.
In a press release, the Front announced the joining of Tatar PG. Meithailung and Rajou-Peyu Nelson Daimei from NSCN-R, 2nd Lieutenant Sajangam Kamei also from NSCN-R, Captain Kunglianglung Kamei and Captain Pouthailung Gonmei from NSCN-K, Corporal Barimshaba Bariamtak and Corporal Jangsinlung from NSCN-IM, along with Private Kariugan Kamei of NSCN-IM.

The release stated that their decision to join the ZUF signifies “not only personal courage but also a profound commitment to the truth, justice, and the enduring cause of the Zeliangrong and our kindred community.”
It further noted that the steady influx of cadres from various groups and outfits into the ZUF stands as “a testament to the triumph of unity over division and the strength of principle over uncertainty.” The Front added that it reflects the growing recognition of its vision and ideals which, it said, resonate deeply within the collective conscience of the people.
“Each comrade who joins reinforces our moral resolve, consolidates our fraternity, and reaffirms that the struggle of the Zeliangrong political aspiration is advancing with renewed confidence and clarity of purpose,” the release said.

The ZUF reiterated its open invitation to all its “brothers who are willing to walk the path of unity and collective struggle,” saying its doors remain open to everyone aspiring to uphold the destiny of the Zeliangrong political aspiration and contribute to safeguarding its land, people, culture, and identity.
“With deepened solidarity and unwavering resolve, we march forward towards the fulfilment of our shared aspirations as we engaged political dialogue with the Government of India,” the statement added.
