A jar of Naga chillies

Published on

A jar of pickle
of the finest Naga chillies
that do not drip of oil
or lose its taste
to sour vinegar
but has just the right amount
of ginger and garlic
in ‘knots’ and cloves
that whoever eats of it
will know by its distinctness
that surely there has not been a match
of greatness and details that is so unique
that it begins to tell a story
about a people who fiercely protect their land
and freedom
and have lost a multitude to defend dignity.
Yes, with a jar of pickle
of the finest Naga chillies!
