Senapati: A six-days Poula dialects dictionary workshop was organized from November 21 to 26 by the Poumai Literature Society under the chairmanship of Dr. N Ngupani Tao. The training was conducted at the National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology (NIELIT), Senapati. Representatives from almost all the Poumai Naga villages attended the workshop.

Veikho, a postdoctorall researcher from the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS, Paris) were the resource persons in the event.
The workshop was organized to primarily support community members to come up with a consistent spelling system–particularly the tone marking in the alphabets.
