UKHRUL: Seeking justice for “sincere and deserving” students, the Meghalaya unit of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) on Thursday condemned the systemic corruption that led to the recent NEET-UG paper leak.
State Secretary Bomsing Khongtir confirmed that the organization is seeking a transparent and impartial inquiry into the organized malpractice, asserting that the dreams and aspirations of lakhs of aspirants must be protected through a credible examination process.
The student body expressed serious concern over allegations regarding organized malpractice, the involvement of coaching networks, and the circulation of leaked question papers. According to the state unit, these developments have shaken the confidence of students and parents across the country.
Moreover, the subsequent cancellation of the examination has reportedly created deep anxiety among candidates who have worked tirelessly for years to prepare for the competitive test.
