AFC C Diploma Course Underway in Chandel

Ukhrul, July 14: The AFC C Diploma Course is underway at the Thoruwl Turf, Liwakhullen Sarei, Chandel district, Manipur. This is the first AFC C Diploma Course held in the district and among hill districts of Manipur.

The course, hosted by District Sports Association, Chandel and organised by All Manipur Football Association under the aegis of All India Football Federation kicked off on July 13 and will continue till July 24.

The opening ceremony held at Thoruwl Turf was attended by DSA, Chandel president TS Chamna Anal; vice president HL Lovingson Anal and the AMFA was represented by Th Joyshing Monsang, AMFA vice president and AIFF Elite National Referee, who officially opened the 12-day course. 

Th Joyshing Monsang, in his opening speech, warmly welcomed all the coaches who are attending the AFC C Diploma Course 2025 at Chandel. He maintained that the coaches are fortunate to be a part of the course at Chandel as it is the first AFC C Diploma Course held in the district and among hill districts of Manipur. Monsang also thanked the AIFF for accepting and allocating Chandel district to conduct the course. He asked all coaches to take advantage of the opportunity given by AIFF and AMFA.

A total of 19 coaches from different districts of Manipur and one from Meghalaya are attending the course.

Gyan Moyon, AFC A Licence Coach who is deputed by All India Football Federation is imparting the training of the course as Coach Educator.

Meanwhile, DSA, Chandel also thanked and appreciated AMFA for always supporting the association in developing football in the district and wished all the participating coaches a successful completion of the course.
