Senapati, October 27: The All Naga Students’ Association, Manipur (ANSAM) has called upon the Naga community to come together in observance of Genna on October 29, honouring Th. Muivah, Hon’ble Ato Kilonser of the NSCN/GPRN, and his lifelong contribution to the Naga cause.

The observance will coincide with a Civic Reception at Senapati Stadium, Tahamzam, organized to celebrate Th. Muivah’s leadership and legacy. ANSAM described the event as a “historic and momentous day” symbolizing the “spirit of Naga unity, political rights, and national identity.”

In an office memorandum, ANSAM endorsed the Genna declared by the United Naga Council (UNC) and issued a series of directives for the day’s observance across all Naga-inhabited areas.
