“The Zeliangrong community is a very unique and blessed community. We are settled in the hearts of various cities and associated with three states (Assam, Manipur and Nagaland), unlike other communities. However, we are yet to be at par with others because of our ignorance, differences and laid back nature,” MLA Janghemlung Panmei said.
Asserting that the Zeliangrong community has a deep rooted history, the MLA called upon the gathering to look back at the history, rectify themselves and come back together as one.
The MLA further encouraged the gathering, especially the students, to choose to be unique and different as they come to the national capital for their further studies and brighter career.
“There is no harm in aspiring to become like the successful leaders. Be inspired by their success and exemplary lives but first look into yourself, discover your strength, your passion and find your purpose in life. Be yourself!” Panmei added.
