Imphal: Strengthening its relationship with the people of Manipur, Karkinos Manipur Cancer Institute and Research Centre in association with Khongman Student Club and supported by Asha Workers, organized a One Day Free Health Check Up, Cancer Awareness Program and Cancer Screening Camp at Khongman Student Club, Khongman in lmphal.
The Health Camp was held to highlight the importance of early detection in the treatment of cancer and aware maximum people about cancer care and a healthy diet to fight different types of diseases.

The Awareness Program included activities like Free Health Checks, Cancer Awareness Sessions, Risk Assessment Program and HPV Test, to name a few.
A highly experienced Medical Team led by Dr K Rajo Singh, Former Director of Health Services, Government of Manipur & HOD-Department of Anaesthesiology of Karkinos Manipur Cancer Institute and Research Centre, was present to interact with the people.

Dr K Rajo Singh said, ”Karkinos Healthcare Manipur is leaving no stone unturned to create awareness about cancer care and defeat this disease in the state of Manipur. We are organizing regular Cancer Awareness Programs and Screening Camps to sensitize the people of Manipur. To lower the risk for cancers, people should refrain from using tobacco products and limit the amount of alcohol consumption.”
