Ceasefire with NSCN-U Extended for One Year

Dimapur, April 29: Following “an official meeting” held on Monday, the ceasefire term between the Government of India and the GPRN/NSCN (U) led by Gen (Retd) MB Neokpao Konyak and Alezo Venuh has been extended for another year i.e. until April 28, 2026.

Reports said that the “official meeting” between the representatives of the Government of India and the leaders of the GPRN/NSCN (U) was held on April 28 at the VIP Guest House within the Chumoukedima Police Complex near Dimapur.
