Chandel: ALT Launches Jerseys for NSF Martyrs’ Trophy

Chandel, September 22: The Anal Lenruwl Tangpi – General Headquarter (ALT-GHq) on Monday launched two sets of jerseys for its players for the NSF Martyrs’ Memorial Trophy 2025, which is being held in Nagaland. The jerseys were launched by Hl. Lovingson, VP of DSA, Chandel, and Lh. Paulhring, former president of DSA Chandel, at the residence of the former in Chandel.

The jerseys were launched in view of ALT GHq’s participation in the 25th edition of the Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) Martyrs’ Trophy, which is being held in Nagaland. The football tournament is scheduled from September 13 to October 18 with over 50 teams from Manipur and Nagaland participating in the event.

Ht. John, Pastor of Chamdil Khullen Baptist Church, prayed for and blessed the event and the jerseys.

Launching the jerseys, Hl. Lovingson and Lh. Paulhring encouraged the players, the committee of the NSF Martyrs’ Trophy for ALT, and the ALT executives. They urged them to maintain the spirit of sportsmanship while participating in the event. They also called on the players to play with their heart and soul and represent the Anāl Naga community to the best of their abilities.

ALT GHq will play its first match on September 27 against Kirka FC at Chumoukedima Football Stadium (CFS) in Dimapur.

The launching event was also attended by Rev. Sng. Jonh Calvin, St. Thuwngkhungam, Convener of the committee, Zecharia Khatal Anal, General Secretary of ALT GHq, Kt. Demoss, Information Secretary of ALT GHq, and Sr. Kagaly, Sports Secretary of ALT GHq.
