Chandel: The Chandel Naga Peoples Organisation (CNPO) has condemned the November 27 incident where a crude bomb lobbed at the residence of one Milan Khaling at Khangshim village adjacent to Kakching Lamkhai.

In a press release issued on Monday, CNPO stated that the bomb thrown at around 7 PM however did not cause injuries and casualty but have caused fear and insecurity among the inhabitants of the village and the surrounding inhabitants.

The Chandel civil body while condemning the cowardly act and intent, said that such incidents should be condemned by all the peace-loving citizens, urging the authorities to trace the culprit and punish befittingly and ensure that such incidents do not re-occur in future.
