Chief Minister Biren announces 5 crore for construction of Ukhrul amusement park

Commenting on the ensuing councils elections in the hills districts, the chief minister was quite vocal of BJP's wining the district councillors elections in Ukhrul district.

Riding high on his go to hills mission, chief minister Biren Singh on Thursday earmarked 5 crore for construction of amusement cum children park at Ukhrul headquarters.

He made this statement while addressing the mandal level meeting at Ukhrul town speaking to karyakartas on Thursday afternoon. Commenting on the ensuing councils elections in the hills districts, the chief minister was optimistic of BJP party wining the district councillors elections in Ukhrul district.

To mitigate the problems being faced by the people of Ukhrul who otherwise have been feeling the hit due to absence of leisure outlets, Biren gave his nod to built amusement cum children park at an estimated cost of 5 crore at Ukhrul township. He also asked the district party senior leaders to survey the suitable spot to construct the park.

Interestingly the visiting chief minister also made a stopover at Ima market vendors and interacted with them as part of his go to hills mission where Imas holds prominent space in the community.
