Imphal: Chief Minister N Biren Singh is reportedly set to tender his resignation if denied the authority over the Unified Command, which oversees security operations in strife torn state Manipur. The decision comes amid mounting tension in the state’s leadership and growing demands from his ruling party members.

According to media reports, there is growing speculation that the Manipur State Assembly might enter a turbulent phase in the coming days — animated state of Manipur Assembly among others.
