UKHRUL: The Chief Minister of Manipur, Yumnam Khemchand Singh, is scheduled to visit Ukhrul District tomorrow to inspect various government projects in the area.
According to a gazette issued by Neilenthang Teilen, the Secretary to the Chief Minister, the Chief Minister will leave the CM Bungalow at 7:30 AM and travel to Ukhrul by road. His first stop will be at Ramva at 8:30 AM to inspect national projects, after which he will proceed to Ukhrul for an interaction with civil society members and public leaders at the Mini Secretariat at 10:15 AM.

The Chief Minister will also review the progress of the rigid pavement project in Ukhrul and then head to Shirui village to assess the projects and preparations for the Shirui Festival. After having lunch in the village, he will return to Imphal.
The Chief Minister will be provided with Z-Plus security during his travels.

It is important to note that the visit schedule does not include any stops in the Litan area, where there have been incidents of arson and heightened tensions following the burning of houses, abductions, and the deaths of two individuals linked to conflicts between the Naga and Kuki communities.
