Ukhrul: Several organizations have vehemently condemned the bombing incident that took place at the residence of Manipur’s Minister for Animal Husbandry and Veterinary, Khashim Vashum, on the evening of Saturday at around 8:40 PM. The explosive device was allegedly detonated at the Minister’s residence in Hamleikhong Colony, Ukhrul, sparking widespread condemnation from local organizations and political groups.

The Tangkhul Naga Long (TNL) issued a strong statement condemning the act as a “cowardly act of criminality.” TNL declared that such actions have no place in society and demanded that the culprits surrender before they are apprehended. The apex Tangkhul civil body also called for a thorough investigation and swift action by authorities.

The Tangkhul Katamnao Saklong (TKS) joined the chorus of condemnation, labeling the attack a “senseless act of violence” that disrupted the peaceful atmosphere of the community. Though there were no casualties, TKS emphasized the negative psychological impact on the family and the community, urging authorities to take immediate action to prevent such incidents in the future.
