The district administration of East Khasi Hills on Friday decided to allow food delivery services for quarantine centres, persons on Covid-19 duty and families or persons under home isolation who cannot procure or cook their own food.
The order issued in this regard Friday stated, “Licensed restaurants/food establishments undertaking the same are asked to ensure full compliance to Covid-19 safety protocols and undertake that the food served is packaged and delivered in a hygienic manner”.

This order applies for the duration of the lockdown period in the district till 5 am of May 10.
