GNF Seek Support For Relief Mission in Suspected KNA-B Attack

UKHRUL: The Global Naga Forum (GNF) has appealed to individuals, organisations, churches, and communities to extend support in cash and kind for a relief mission to villages along the Myanmar border in Kamjong district that were allegedly attacked by the KNA Burma.

According to the forum, the villages of Choro, Wanglee, and Namlee are currently facing the devastating impact of ethnic violence, with several families displaced and livelihoods severely disrupted. Homes have been destroyed, while access to food, medicines, clothing, and other daily necessities has been badly affected.

As per information shared by the GNF, Choro village, which has around 700 houses, saw 22 homes burnt down during the violence. In Wanglee, a village of about 350 houses, 5 houses were destroyed, while Namlee, with nearly 250 houses, reported 3 houses burnt.

The forum stated that contributions of any amount would help provide emergency relief materials, including food supplies, blankets, medicines, sanitary items, clothing, and other essentials for affected families.
