Govt Offices Picketed in Tamenglong under People’s Movement Against FMR Scrapping and Border Fencing

Tamenglong, June 2: As part of the “People’s Movement Against the Scrapping of FMR and Imposed Border Fencing Construction Amidst Naga Homeland,” all government offices within the jurisdiction of Rongmei Naga Students Organization (RNSOM) were picketed.

The action was carried out in the presence of Angteshang Maring, President of the All Naga Students’ Association Manipur (ANSAM), and his team.

Also present were Lanhungba Bariam, President of the All Inpui Students’ Union (AISU); Ariang Panmei, Chairman of RNCM Tamenglong Luangrian; Shining Panmei, Chairman of RNSOM Tamenglong Luangrian; and Miusinreiyang, Chairman of RNYOM Tamenglong Luangrian; Daichui Gangmei, President RNSOM cum Convenor of Joint Tribe Students’ Association (JTSA).

Govt Offices Picketed in Tamenglong under Peoples Movement Against FMR Scrapping and Border Fencing

“Let us unite in our quest for justice and the preservation of our land and rights. Together, we’re making our voices heard. Our collective efforts are a testament to the power of unity and solidarity. Let us continue to stand strong and advocate for the rights of the Naga community without borders,” read the joint statement issued by the student bodies.
