Ukhrul: Hao Services – food caterer and event management, one of the most popular service providers in Ukhrul, celebrated a 10-year anniversary on Tuesday at Duncan Park, Hunphun, Ukhrul.

Ten winters ago, in the chill of 2014, a small venture was born in Ukhrul town, founded by a young man with just ten (10) women helpers and his family with a shared dream. At a time when dedicated catering services were virtually unheard of in the area, Hao Services took a leap of faith. Today, after thousands of plates served and countless venues graced, Hao Services has broken the barriers and set new standards.

Founder and proprietor of Hao Services, Ngakuimi Awungshi, recalled the very beginning and the many challenges of catering services, where tradition viewed such service as unconventional and was seen as a disruption to traditional practices. But through dedication
and seamless service, perceptions shifted. Today, people see catering service not as a threat but as a reliable and trusted solution.

“As we celebrate this milestone, we fondly remember our first opportunity at the wedding of Wungton Nakhedei, who placed his trust in us when we were just starting out. His faith in our service gave us the push we needed, and the rest, as they say, is history,” stated Ngakuimi Awungshi.

As Hao Services continues to prioritize affordability and quality, when asked why he remains as passionate today as he was a
decade ago, Ngakuimi Awungshi humbly said, “Because everything ends with gratitude and blessings. The joy and satisfaction of our clients fuel our commitment to creating memories that last a lifetime.”

With dedication, Hao Services has grown. Today, they are employing fifty women. “Thank you for lifting us to where we are today. They are our backbone and the heart of our success,” said Ngakuimi Awungshi.

Awunshi appealed, “As we look to the future, we hope you will continue to walk with us by supporting our mission to create delicious moments of celebration.”

Having catered over 2,500 events and weddings (from intimate gatherings of 30 to grand celebrations of over 3,500 guests), Hao Services has now extended its catering services across the state of Manipur, a testament of trust and valued service. The celebration was also attended by Kengoo Zuringla (IAS), Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul, Ringyuichon Vashum, Director of UDWIM and Planning Vashum better half of Minister Khashim Vashum as special guests among others.
