Highly decomposed body of an unknown man found near Thoyee/Gwaltabi village

Ukhrul: Litan Police, under Ukhrul District has urged the general public to help identify a dead body of a male found lying in the bush below the road leading to Thawai/Thoyee village, about 300 meters from Gwaltabi.

The highly decomposed unknown dead body, according to Litan police was found on August 24 at 9:30 PM.

The unknown body appears to be about 35-40 years old, 5.5 ft (Approximately) tall; beard on chin and both cheeks; wearing grey T-shirt, grayish brown jacket, cargo black pant and a Relaxo chappal, according to police.

The body is being kept at JNIMS mortuary for identification.

The OC of Litan Police Station, L. L. Tezii has requested the general public to share any information or leads to help identify the body.
