Kamjong: Hopingson A Shimray has begun his campaign from today as an intending candidate under BJP party for the 43-Phungyar Assembly Constituency from Laho (Leingangching) for the ensuing Manipur election-2022.
Speaking at today’s campaign, Hopingson A Shimray stated that the time has come for an inclusive change under the motto “together, for everyone’s growth, with everyone’s trust, with everyone’s effort”.
K V Son from Phungyar emphasized on the need for unity while Jamison from Yeasom spoke for the need to embark on the path of development.
It may be recalled that Hopingson A Shimray recently resigned as the President of Tangkhul Naga Long (Tangkhul Apex Body) after which BJP Manipur inducted him to the party in a grand welcome in the presence of chief minister N Biren Singh, BJP Manipur Pradesh president, Sharda Devi, Manipur election in-charge Ashok Singhal among other leaders.
The campaign was accompanied with health card team (PMJAY and CMHT).
The meeting was attended by Laho elders, women leaders, youth leaders, and everyone in the Laho.
Hopingson’s aid also inform that 20 villages will be covered under Thoubal range of 43-Phungyar A/C.
